Our Vision:

To establish a welcoming community of like-minded families, to grow together and be supported in their parenting journey.

To provide a place where children’s passion and interest in the natural world, and themselves in relationship to that world, is ignited.

To nurture a community, free of judgement, where children and their families feel a sense of belonging.

To create a weekly ritual that is as nourishing for parents/caregivers and their wellbeing, as it is for children.

To encourage families to witness nature and experience awe and wonder at its possibilities.

Our Educators

Celeste Lee

Hi, I'm Celeste! I am a mum of 2 and an Early Childhood Teacher. I have been very fortunate to work in progressive, alternative schools, that allowed me to share my passion for inspiring children to develop a love and appreciation for nature. Now, I am on the exciting journey of homeschooling/unschooling. I am happiest away from tech and traffic somewhere among the trees or at the beach! I am a student of and advocate for, peaceful parenting, as well as living a low tox lifestyle that is gentle on the Earth.

Eve Watson

Hi, Im Eve, mama of one toddler. I am a qualified Pastry Chef and worked in hospitality for a decade in varying roles. In 2020 I began my Bachelor of Primary Education, however after one a half years of the degree, my daughter was born and I wasn’t resonating with the Education system so have deferred my degree for now. I have practiced Yoga for most of my life and have taught Yin Yoga regularly since 2018. Through my Yoga journey, I have come to realise how important our formative years are, thus I am passionate about allowing my daughter (and all children) to grow into their fullest, unique selves. I draw on practices from Aware Parenting to assist me in my parenting journey. My favourite ways to spend time are out in nature with Freya, cooking, reading and I love being in deep conversation with anyone about life’s experiences!

Gillian Howarth

I’m Gill Howarth, a Conscious Educator, an Educational Changemaker, Storyteller and Mother to 3 bright, beautiful and wild boys. I believe we create a strong foundation for learning (and life) via a strong connection to our inner world. I am a university qualified Early Childhood Educator with over 20 years experience, I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and Philosophy. I am also qualified yoga and meditation teacher which is something I have practiced since the age of 16.

Emily Patterson

I'm Emily Patterson, a mama of three with a passion for gentle and respectful parenting, and conscious, natural, child-led education. I have a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Studies and a Masters in Special Education but stepped away from the system 5 years ago and have been running a homeschool program based on a Conscious Education philosophy for the past 2 years. I love holding a gentle and safe space for children to truly be themselves, at their essence, and I am inspired to learn from their presence, creativity and curiosity.

Sabrina Galipo

Hi, I am Sabrina, Mumma to my precious daughter. I have worked in Early Childhood for over 10 years. This is where my curiosity and passion for conscious parenting and child lead learning began. I have always had a passion for working alongside children of all ages and love to watch them learn about their world through play. I am a qualified Reiki healer and I love learning about different healing modalities and natural remedies. I am happiest when I am out in nature exploring with my little girl or enjoying a day at the beach as a family. Being surrounded by children as they freely and uniquely express who they are lights me up.✨

Linda Scott

Hi, I'm Linda, Mum to two big kids and Mimi to my gorgeous grandie, Cash. After 20 years in mainstream schooling, predominantly early childhood, I'm excited to be unschooling myself and getting back to nature, where my heart feels most at home. My passion has always been working with children, the most important thing for me, when it comes to education is providing a loving, supportive and safe environment for children to flourish and lead their own learning journey.

Testimonials

"Monday morning nature play has become the highlight of the week - for both my daughter and me!

My little on is such a free spirit, she loves running around outside and choosing to take part in the activities if she wants to (or playing on her own if she wants to). I love watching how her play develops with each session.

And we love Linda!! She puts so much effort and attention to detail into all of the activities for the kids. You can tell how much she genuinely loves us all. And an unexpected outcome of the playgroup is all the beautiful friendships I've made with other like-minded mums. "

"For nearly 1 and a half years my daughter and I have been attending Friday playgroups and we have both loved every week of it, always looking forward to it! The easy-going atmosphere and beautifully crafted stations that instigate exploration and play. Or just chilling out on the mat eating lunchboxes. We love doing and taking home the creative experience craft, and I particular have enjoyed watching my daughter get more involved in this processed over time and taking charge of the creating. I always leave having filled my cup up too, having a chat and getting to know the other mums more, friendships forming, being around so many like-minded people is always so refreshing. We love being a part of the We Are Nature Network."

"Our hearts are so blessed to have found this playgroup. We have watched our daughter thrive as she engages and learns in a space that nurtures her mind, body, and soul. We love the soft structure of the playgroup that allows us to follow our daughter’s lead. The setup meets many sensory needs, and spaces we can explore and learn without pressure. The nature aspect allows us to meet and ground ourselves on the Earth creating a calm space to meet. We have found a beautiful village of parents, children and facilitators that always highlights our week. "
