Nature & Play Based Education
The We Are Nature Network offers both in-person and at-home nature & play based curriculums.
Our education programs are created by our team of Early Childhood Educators.
We prioritise Imagination, Creativity, Wonder & Curiosity.
We believe these are the essential ingredients necessary to enrich early childhood development.
And where better to find these ingredients than in the natural world?
Our goal is to get as many children outside in nature as possible!
Are you interested in homeschooling, unschooling, free schooling or just exploring different learning opportunities for your children/family?
Have you considered delaying school start and/or skipping kindy and pre-primary?
Do you want to explore different options for approaching education with your child?
Do you worry the education options do not align with your family philosophy and values?
Come join us for our annual Q & A morning where we share our own personal stories and perspectives as well as explore your questions around homeschooling and education

In-Person Programs
Our wonderful team of educators have thoughtfully designed education
programs that cater to children of all ages. With their guidance, you can
explore ways of learning that will spark your child's curiosity in nature and nourish a connection to Mother Earth.

At-Home Programs
Nurture your child's natural learning journey by embracing storytelling, art, yoga, mindfulness, music, recipes, and emotional intelligence - from your own backyard. Our play-based nature education program is designed to empower your family to learn, create, and play in harmony with nature.

Our network.
We are a network of women and children who believe in the power of nature as a teacher. Our programs, courses, and workshops follow a play-based and self-directed learning approach, upholding creativity, awe, and wonder as our core values. We give children the freedom to explore and develop their autonomy in a safe and supportive environment. Our educators bring their unique gifts and perspectives to their programs while sharing our shared philosophy and values.
“Each of us must come to care about everyone else’s children. We must recognise that the well-being of our own children is intimately linked to the well-being of all other people’s children.”
- Lillian Katz
